Brasseur de Montreal - Westmount

Went there for a departure lunch. Our little group of 12 had no issue at all. Good beer (try the coffee and vanilla stout) and the food was good; portions were generous enough. Will go back for sure. :)

Where should we meet to go over the photography for our new catalogue. Why not the Brasserie just around the corner. Been there several times, always a great experience, excellent food, easy service not pushy and of course a great selection of artisan brews. The chef prepared two plates of crab cakes for lunch as a special request, for my two guests, even though they are only on the evening menu. A big apology he had only two portions so I chose the Smoked Meat Poutine. OMG incredible Poutine is all about the taste, this was terrific. My only complaint is the portion was too generous, I had to ask our server to take it away as I kept on nibbling after I knew I had had too much. This place never fails to please

Lunch with a friend, we're going to be around 1:45. The choice of dishes is limited, there is no more this, there is no more that. We're forgotten. When the chicken caesar salad comes... there's no chicken in it. We're trying to catch someone's eyes, the waiters are pretty busy pooping. The chicken comes when the salad is almost over. I don't remember what I ate so much it was mediocre. When I get my bill, I miss my bad dish, but it's not that it's offered to me. He was forgotten. I'm noticing it. I'm adding it. Would they have offered me a coffee in thanks? pass your way, even the scenery sucks! a badly appointed loft, a deficient service, there is better to show!

Went for a 5@7 after a long time absence and where to start?! Prices went up significantly 8 to 10$ more than it used to be, beer tast has changed, and service has gone downhill ! We ordered 4 poutines and waited I kid you not for 1h to hear back from the waitress that it's going to take another 30 min ! We cancelled our order and left highly dissatisfied ! What a shame, I really used to like the place. I'll never go back.

Without reservation with our little family, we had to use the terrace because the restaurant' is not accessible to minors. correct white sangria, delicious beef bath, tasty poutine, really excellent mustard tartare of beef, disappointing deer tartare (too subtle as taste), excellent fries and croutons to be appreciated. service too shy but effective. the terrace was not clean during our visit, seemed neglected.
