The Inn At Weston

So excited for the Inn to have re-opened. Amazing staff and service. Great vibe. Delicious food and drink. The Inn looks gorgeous!

My hubby booked the romance package at the Inn at Weston. We had a wonderful time. We felt like the experience was unique because Weston is such a small town. Everyone is so friendly, trusting, and laid-back. We enjoyed how secluded we felt from the world.

Stayed here for 2 days. Picked this place because of the website. No where does the website mention that this Inn is under new ownership and currently going through a transition. But, that’s no excuse for rugs that weren’t vacuumed, lack of pastries/sweets at breakfast. Not to mention some were stale. A nice touch would be to have coffee/tea available throughout the day. The first floor had a wood fireplace. Would have been nice to have that lit. Website should really be updated. The restaurant menu on the site is not what is being offered. Four courses were offered to us, but the paper menu in the restaurant said 5 courses.

We arrived on Saturday and found a letter taped to the banister directing us to our room, with no staff present to assist us. The building could really use a good vacuum and a wash of the woodwork. I live in a historic house from the 1730s, so I appreciate the charm of age, but this place felt more neglected than old. The side tables in our room had broken drawers, and the coffee bar in the morning was dirty from the previous day. Our bathroom had peeling wallpaper, and the doors had unsightly black marks. The ramp to enter the house was completely covered in ice, creating a serious safety hazard. All of these issues are significant. The only staff member we encountered was our breakfast server the next morning. When we asked her how to check out, she didn’t know and had to text the manager, who we never saw during our stay. I had always looked forward to staying here, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience.
