Positano Ct - Westport

Dinner for two on a Saturday afternoon seven. we both ordered calf meat. no apps. it took 45 minutes to get our food. it was terrible. how can you screw grilled calf soup. medical. well done (both our commands) maybe they were defrosted in microwave or were sitting under heat lamps for half an hour. we both took two bites and that was it. they were finally taken away. No one asked why two $32.50 pieces were not eaten or if they were to pack them in to take home. when the bill came, I was charged for a big glass wee and not for a normal glass. I never heard of it. I thought we were in a tourist trap in nyc after a lion king sat. matinee. the food was so bad we laughed all the way to the ice cream shop for dinner/dessert. that was great.

I was there with a friend for Valentines Day. Four course price fix menu. It started out well and went downhill fast!!! The salad was drowning with cheese and I like cheese! We both ordered the duck. It was so over cooked that it was hard as a rock. They would not comp us on anything. When we complained the waiter stopped coming to our table to check on us. They charged us both for dessert and then only corrected the bill for one of us. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. Truly horrible.

We had both veal martini. absolutely the best. our waitress was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. that was our second unforgettable meal in positano. can't say enough good things. our new favorite. we'll be back.

The first time back in a few years and really enjoyed our dinner. laugh perfectly prepared. kellner was excellent, will be back soon

Waiter was excellent Food was very good Location was great Wine selection limited but good Would definitely eat there again, no question.
