Bidra med feedbackSo we were looking for a place near Capitol to eat theater, so we found on Google Maps and this Diamond in the Rough . So we went in and saw many tables filled and tables with reserves, but they found us another beautiful little table. Menu immediately in the hand and drinks and appetizers immediately. My wife ordered the Shrimp Basket (excellent) and I ordered the reubs (one of the best I ever had especially with Senf) we sat beside two regular customers who said that you save space for the Pie. Next time, Definitive!! And another thing the whole staff were some of the nicest people and the service was excellent, although Jam Packed!! Can't wait to go back!!
So without a doubt: The Bridge Tavern Grill really has one of the best burgers in Wheeling WV. I really like the salad, tomatoes and onion was fresh... OUTSTANDING . In addition, the Philly Tatchos was an absolute treat with grilled green paprika onions, cheese sauce with philly steak, and perpetrator tarts was great. Excellent service and chefs really excellent work. Lemon meringue pie with pfeffer cream was for dying.
On the stopped Tuesday night for dinner on the way through Wheeling. It was the best reef I had for years (to boot with good beer on the train). Staff and owners are friendly, funny, nice people from this world. The place has fantastic decoration, a long history and great music. The location is also great. If you are a person observer or atmospheric connoisseur, you will love the big windows. Thanks for the great time!
My husband and I visited Bridge Tavern Grill for the first time today. We sat at the bar, the bartender, Joe, was friendly, knowledgeable about all menu items and made a great prickly pear margarita! Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the hot pepper cheese bites, soft pulp with beer cheese, house salad (fantastic house dressing), burgers and fish and chips. I would definitely recommend this place for the great prices, food, drinks, atmosphere and service!
Great stop. The new owners have transformed the building and thankfully allowed the bar to say relatively as it always was. Been coming here for 40 years and although I miss GD and am not much of a fan for change, I believe the owners did well. Enjoyed a delicious club sandwich and onion rings. Pleasant atmosphere and staff that is outstanding. Looking forward to some live music soon.
