Denny's - Whitby

The service/server was less than pleasant and managed to dampen our whole experience, We felt rushed the entire time we were there, even when she got the orders wrong. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this location. We are not likely to return.

The food was just okay, honestly not the Denny's I remember. We had great service. The restaurant has changed it's lighting and wall colours and it is so bright now. Too bright actually I suggest dimmers or sunglasses. To be truly honest I don't think I would go back.

We had a great time at lunch catching up with a friend. We brought our 6 month old daughter and the staff were very accommodating. A great family friendly restaurant.

Had breakfast here during a recent road trip.No gourmet meals here. Good down to earth everyday cooking. Big portions breakfast “slam” meals. I had the American slam sausages bacon cheddar cheese eggs rösti potatoes sourdough toast with strawberry jam and hot sauce. Sometimes that just hits the spot nothing fancy just feed me! Leftovers to take home for sure. Decided again that cheesy eggs are not my thing.My husband had the slamwich basically bacon cheese eggs sausage ham all scrambled together between two pieces of potato bread with rösti potatoes on the side. It was very filling but he said it didn’t look as good as the menu.Bottomless coffee. Open 24 hours. Very clean. Popular spot so service can be a tad slow.

It's weekend and the restaurant was really packed but they have huge space so we were accomodated right away. The service was fast and staff were very attentive. The serving size is really for sharing. Everything we ordered was really good like pancakes, mozzarella sticks, omelette, and steak n eggs. You won't run out of options as they have wide range of food to offer. Washroom is clean. Ambience of restaurant was really cozy and family friendly.
