Big Bear Donair - Whitehorse

Big Bear recently re-opened and has an awesome vibe with outdoor seating. Went twice while visiting and loved the Glory Bowl (amazing dressing and falafel balls) and Spicy V pizza. It’s hard to make a delicious vegan pizza, and they nailed it! We also tried the vegan hotdog as a shared appetizer and it was delicious. Highly recommend!!! I loved the reasonably-priced falafel. They also offer a lemon-lavender radler, a refreshing drink with a low alcohol content from the local brewery. More vegan options would be great though.

I am giving it 5 stars for service, atmosphere and food quality. The selection for vegans is limited but the falafels are pretty tasty and filling. They offer hummus and siracha for vegan sauces. Was hoping for tahini but it was still yummy with just the hummus. The decor is nice and fits well with the Yukon. Everyone working was really nice. Price is a bit high but low compared to most restaurants here. There's also a beautiful patio for outside dining. A+

I love going to Big Bear The service is always exceptionally friendly, with knowledgeable staff. All the sauces are house-made, so you can feel good about what your putting in your body, while staying on a budget and eating fast. I never get sick of the shawarma, and the falafel is the best I've ever had! I love that they're making wild game cones on Tuesdays now.
