Flame Broiler - Whittier

I'm giving this restaurant three stars. Although I had heard a lot about the high quality of the food, I wasn't particularly impressed. I noticed quite a bit of toughness in the meat. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, the place was clean, and there was no wait.

When I went to pay, I found out that they only accept cards. It would have been helpful if they had at least posted a sign in the window to indicate that cash is not accepted.

I ordered a chicken rice bowl and some vegetables. The chicken had an unpleasant odor. I spoke to the girl at the counter, who issued a refund and gave me some free cookies. This is why I’ve rated my experience low. While the service was good, the food was not satisfactory.

The quality of food here is excellent, especially when compared to other Flame Broiler locations I've visited. However, prices are currently on the higher side, particularly for beef dishes, due to a claimed shortage that's leading to temporary price hikes.

Wonderful service, spotless venue, and delicious food.
