Lift - Whittier

It’s my routine. After a haircut I walk over and reward myself with a Spanish Latte. Lift provides a chill vibe where you can sit, check emails, do some homework, or a teams call. Clean restroom great views for people watching. Definitely a treat.

I love the vibrancy of the coffee shop, their breakfast burritos smack so good! One thing that I wish they could honor is iced cappuccinos (non foamy literally just 8oz milk amount) or iced cortados. I personally don’t like the full milk amount of a regular latte and I saw their short latte and asked if they can add even less milk like somewhere around an iced cortado amount and the barista seemed bothered. My boyfriend and I both tipped her individually just because I knew my order was a little “extra”. But honestly its really just espresso over ice with 6-8oz of milk that’s really it. Overall it was such an awkward interaction. Does Lift not do that kind of drink?

I tried Lift coffee for the first time today and ordered the Spanish latte which was extremely flavorful and delicious. The prices are a bit high, however, it did not seem to curtail the amount of people. I was surprised at how busy the store was, and seating was at a premium. There is free Wi-Fi and I noticed a dog water bowl outside the doors. Outdoor seating Was limited but available. Copyright infringement abounds.

Great coffee, ambiance, and steak n egg breakfast burrito! Deducted 1 star due to the half-full serving of salsa they provide with a .50 cent charge to obtain the other half.

This is a great coffee shop in Uptown. The service and coffee were great. It was a great environment to hang out and work for a while and prices are very reasonable.
