Dockside Willie's - Wiarton

Unfortunately we received poor customer service here. We had ordered takeout and while we were waiting it started to rain so we asked to be seated inside. First they said there was no room which was not true as there were at least three tables available. So I went inside and a young lady said she would get a table ready for us. Then she came back and said the manager advised her that table was reserved for another party. So we ate outside in the rain and did enjoy the food. Too bad the service was horrible. I called the manager and let him know and when he again said the table was reserved I advised him we would have had time to eat there and that I didn't really think there was a reservation at which time he hung up on me. Do not bother with this place unless you like bad management. The young lady and young man I spoke to were both polite and management was trying to make them deal with the situation. Disgusting!

Group of 6 - 3 ordered fish & chips, 3 ordered burgers. Burgers were extremely messy - really overloaded with condiments. Fish was thin & soggy, fries were cold & hard. Service was very slow and staff did not come back to check quality after the plates were served.

Excellent food, menu was great. Cheerful friendly and efficient service. Service with a smile even when exceptionally busy with summer visitors.

Awesome menu, with great prices! Nice patio overlooking Bluewater Park and the home of Wiarton Willie is right next door!

After a long day biking and paddling, we stopped at Bluewater Park. Dockside Willie's was right there! Very nice staff. Got there just before the live music started! Nice! Portions were big, had fish tacos, a Rueben and poutine. My wife and I could have split our entree and still ate enough. Good food, and great area.. CPV
