Bidra med feedbackWaited quite a while for someone to notice us sitting in the front window of the cafe. All 3 employees were involved in some sort of discussion lasting over 10 minutes. The server finally noticed us and we were served. Cappuccino was good, schwartzwalder kirsch kuchen was just ok. Waited again for bill and finally went to counter to pay. Another couple was getting ready to leave due to no tables available, so I guess we saved them from losing 2 customers by vacating our table.
The waitresses are friendly, but slow. The service all over good. Nice place to set down and drink a good coffee. The food especially breakfast is low quality, cheeses and ham are mass product. The bread is ok... I would recommend to take the cake... which is delicious and so much better quality than the rest of the food. The interior is nice but not practical.
This café advertises exceptional coffee and has a lively, friendly atmosphere. It seemed to be very busy with regulars on the Saturday noon when I visited. Service was fast, but the espresso was below average.
You are looking for awesome coffee from all over the world and delicious cakes? Then this is the place to go to im Wiesbaden. The place is parted in two, the coffee shop and the restaurant. bout the coffee shop: The coffee comes from all over the world and you can decide which area it should be, like Hawaii, Peru, Panama, Ecuador, Guatemala just to name a few. You can decide if you want to have whole beans or ground coffee. They also sell coffee pots in all varieties and cups, chocolate and different sorts of tea. The restaurant: You can either have the coffee at the restaurant, to go or buy some you can make yourself at home. The cakes are just delicious, you can enjoy them either at the restaurant or to go. They also offer breakfast (until 14:00), but I think there are better places to go to in Wiesbaden for breakfast. Hepa cafe has a nice terrace in the inside which is worth a visit.
This cafe is beside the HEPA Coffee Roaster. We went to the Roaster first, and bought two bags of freshly roasted beans, then went in to the Cafe for Fruhstuck. They offer a simple menu, and the prices are very affordable. We really enjoyed the Salmon Quiche, and the fruit plate was great, as well. Unlike American coffee houses, which often cater to the morning rush crowd, this place only opens at 9 a.m. Fruhstuck is only offered until 2 p.m. It's tucked away in a quiet corner of the city, very near the main shopping/walking street. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating, including a covered courtyard behind the dining room, where you can watch the activities inside the roastery. It's a small, off the beaten path, type of place, but their serving staff is knowledgeable, and their clientele is obviously full of repeat customers. They just gained another family of admirers when we visited. Highly recommend!
