Bidra med feedbackThis place is without a doubt the place for Sunday roast, me and my family come here every Sunday and never had a bad meal the prices are decent the desserts are lovely great family freindly atmosphere me and my family have been to many places for Sunday roast all more expensive but no where near as good hence why we will not go anywhere else but here all the staff are great go out there way for us all the time
I went with my son, his partner and my daughter for my brother-in-law's funeral post-funeral event/wake We had travelled up from Birmingham and my daughter and I are both vegan, my son is vegetarian. Despite having notice, they said the only vegan food they could provide was bread and salad. Welcome to the twenty first century, Bucks Head. Ever heard of supermarkets? Not difficult to get vegan margarine, cheese, crisps etc. Hobnobs are vegan, for future reference, although I wouldn't recommend any vegans visit this place.
Took the family with friends to the firework display last night , we had heard reviews it was good but never been before... The reviews were wrong it was amazing not just good!!!! Great atmosphere, lots going on and the fireworks were spectacular all done to music... Well done too all the staff and who. We're involved... Will be going next year and definitely spreading the word...
I had to leave this review im so disappointed. It used to be best in Lancashire. Now it's no longer value for money very poor in fact. Ordered large and medium carvery got 2 extra potatoes and 1 extra Yorkshire pudding. Asked what I wanted on plate large so I said plenty mash and carrots and turnips please. Yet got a square plate delivered with same portion as medium. What a rip off. Total with 2 pints was £30.30 I would have paid £40.00 if they hadn't have tried cut portion sizes to make up for lost profits in covid. No wonder you can't recover. In these bad times. Carrots are hardly gonna break the bank are they. Oh and roast potatoes rock hard and too big. They used be delious don't in chip pan mmmm not any more avoid like the plague.
Last visit had small Carvery £6 (well can’t really call It carvery as don’t help yourself) but today choose medium carvery £9 but only plate larger although plate had two inch edge so centre of plate small. You hardly get any extra food on this one as Yorkshire lies flat on plate taking up load of room maybe got two tiny extra roast potatoes and a bit of extra meat, so disappointed on medium size. Better getting small as they pile food up and put Yorkshire on top paying extra £3 on meal for nothing.
