The Stag Inn - Wigan

Service was outstanding from Cath very helpful and polite. Very welcoming pub with lovely staff and people. Food was fresh and hot and had so much flavour. We ordered chicken fajita and pork belly with rice and chips. Would highly recommend to everyone 100%. Thank you again and we will be back

We visited here on Friday 5th Jan 2024. Had a very long wait for food , even longer wait for dessert Had football on every TV There was also a dog barking a lot

7 of us arrived for Christmas dinner.including my lad who has cerebral palsy and in a wheelchair.i had mentioned this when making the booking.Have to say the staff where brilliant in making sure the lad could reach the table.Arrived early enough for pre meal drinks.starters arrived and we all enjoyed them.Now the bro in law wasn’t feeling too brill and I ended up running him and his m8 home.Got back to the pub and the guy running the service had already boxed up the mains for the two lads.reheated my min and wasn’t too bad at all,Turkey lovely and moist.All enjoyed the sweets. The place was really well spaced out and not at all crowded.tables dressed nicely.rhe two folk running the service were absolutely brilliant,the young lady and am presuming the manager never stopped.attending tables with a smile and nothing was too much trouble.all in all a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas dinner.

Went with the family for Christmas dinner. No complaints whatsoever. Food was delicious good portions and great value formoney. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were great and worked like troopers. Would definitely go again.

Went for an early Christmas meal with friends. Enjoyed the Christmas menu. As someone who has food allergies the menu was amazing. I could be included without being too fussy. Thank you to Matt and the chefs for giving us a good night!
