Berggasthaus Stofeli

We thought here for our lunch break during a ski day. they have a beautiful terrace where they can enjoy the mountains while eating. the location is beautiful, but the dishes a little pricy and small to lunch while skiing.

In Switzerland people like to go in winter and hike in summer. both activities let them thirst and starve. Therefore they find many guest houses, restaurants and restaurants in the Swiss alpen, where they can have a break or even spend their night. the. the mountain guest house stöfeli could easily be the quintessential Swiss mountain guest house. why? location is everything: nature seems to have prepared this place for this hospitable. it is harmoniously embedded in the landscape, just under the stunning mountain scenery of the Chäserrugg peak and allows the view into the Swiss Alpine ski line. as an additional bonus you can eat under the chäserrugg cable cars. so a fire-red cable car regularly drives over it. it is like from this world. Drinks and eat: here they not only get local products, here they get them mixed in a wise, traditional and modern style. and what they get is really good, it tastes home made and not dosen. a simple salad is a firm for her gustative nerves. people: they are local that makes it perfect. nothing against anyone, but having someone accented with a regional is just the icing on the cake. and the woman who was responsible during my visit was bright, shiny and friendly. they do not get too often in Swiss mountain guesthouses. she was just perfect and if someone wants to learn how hospitable looks and feels light, they come here and learn. for all other guests: simply enjoy. all together: well, it is simply the quintessential swiss berggasthaus.

Last year in the winter season I had lunch there several times and was always satisfied with the performance, the service and the quantity. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed until further notice
