El Zocalo Mexican - Wilkes Barre

I had the shrimp fried in the breaded mixture served along with rice and it was tasty and crunchy. The shrimp was expertly seasoned and fit well with the dish. The only reason I have a 4 star is because the salad was lacking slightly in the choice of lettuce.

I ate here for the first time the other day. Several of my friends and family rave about the place and now I see why. The food was excellent and very fairly priced. The burrito I had was wonderfully seasoned and the portion was large. I really liked the dining area which is wide open, bright, and spotlessly clean. The waitress was fast, friendly, and ready to help. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick quality meal in downtown Wilkes-Barre.

Being used to authentic Mexican restaurants in New York (and being half Mexican myself), this place has great food, at good prices. Fast delivery, and a friendly staff. Will definitely be ordering quite frequently.
