Cook Out - Wilkesboro

Seems lately this Cookout is always out of something. This day they were out of Chocolate syrup, so any type of chocolate shake was off the menu! I went there for a chocolate shake. It would make sense to me that the manager would either go to Walmart orLowes or Aldi or anywhere for that matter, and pick up a couple bottles of Hersheys chocolate syrup in order to keep up with theexpected demand or output of a normal business day. Seems logical to me. Good business sense. May cost a couple extra dollars vsseveral customers and poor reviews that in this day and age of Social Media, can spread like wild fire. Also, it was said veryrude. We ain 't got chocolate syrup so we ain 't making any chocolate shakes today . The staff could of said I 'm sorry, but weare temporarily out of chocolate syrup for chocolate based shakes. Our manager has gone to remedy this but in the meantime can Iinterest u in a mocha shake or hot fudge sundae.... (You get my drift... )Or return in 30 minutes and we will have chocolateagain.

Update; 11/4/22 My order was fairly simple but once again, they could not pull it off. Good food but if management cant or wont fix the problem, I will not be sad to see the place go out of business. Can 't wait for Hwy 55. 9/19/22 8:00pm. Wilkesboro,NC Girl operating drive thru seemed to struggle with order accuracy. Kept repeating things. It took forever to get thru line. Ok. A week earlier, I ordered a Cheddar style burger but when I got home with it it was a Carolina style. So when I gothome after this visit, to my surprise, the order was correct. However, check out the large fry! There were no stragglers in thebag. This was it. All of them. SMH Cookout large fry. Get yours today.

On our travel home from Boone NC, we were initially excited to encounter an eat in/sit down Cook Out restaurant. However, that excitement was quickly drained, and our patience was sorely tested by the glacially slow meal preparation. My Cajun chicken wasmuch smaller than what I have received at competitors as well as other Cook Out locations. The food was as expected, but thewait for it (well over 15 minutes) was totally unexpected. I will skip this restaurant in the future!

Long line. But every restaurant in the area has that problem. What takes 45 minutes to an hour at McDonald's takes about 15 minutes here. Drive thru is confusing, but the staff are qualified, polite, professional and don't forget to give you what youneed. Prices are unbeatable. Service is outstanding. Plus, they're open when all other restaurants close. I highly recommendCookout!

Both orders were completely wrong, and normally if just a small mistake we would've went ahead an ate it, but I can't stand mayo and they just smothered Both burgers in mayo. I read receipt so they took order right but they definitely didn't look at theorder ticket...IM TAKING WHOLE BAG BK.
