Wendy's - Wilkesboro

I used to really enjoy going to Wendy's because the food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly. However, I don't know what has changed. The young woman at the drive-thru has been extremely rude on three separate occasions, and the last visit was the final straw for me. Additionally, they now charge for extra sauces. It’s only $0.15 each, but when I'm ordering both a 4-piece and a 10-piece chicken nugget meal, I don’t understand why I should be charged for 6 packs of sauces—I thought I could get more than 4. When I brought it up, they said it was a corporate policy, but the Wendy's near the college is the only location that has charged me for sauces. The Wendy's on 2nd Street has always provided good service, so if you’re craving Wendy's, I recommend going to the one in North Wilkesboro on 2nd Street.

I placed my original order, but it was incorrect. The manager was at the window, so I returned to address the issue with my sandwich. We all had a good laugh about it, as mistakes happen. They quickly resolved the issue, and I ended up a happy customer! Since I live out of town and don’t visit these places often, I appreciated their prompt service, especially since it was late and most other places were already closed. I definitely recommend this location for how well they handled the mistake. Food: 5
