Bidra med feedbackGreat prices....in 1960s. Just found an old menu of theirs. Was planning to take it there and see if they would price match, but just found out they are gone forever.
I'm so disappointed to hear that this gem is up for sale! It truly breaks my heart. I have to share that for my 40th birthday, my husband took me to Las Vegas for a show, and I had the choice of any restaurant on the Strip for my birthday dinner. I decided to drive to Williams to dine at my beloved Rods! I really hope someone kind buys it and restores this wonderful place to its former glory. I'll definitely be back!
The atmosphere at Rod's is really lively and enjoyable. Everything—from the matching plates and menus to the decor—features a fun brown bull pattern. I don't regret choosing Rod's for dinner during our stay in Williams, but I probably wouldn't eat there again if I find myself in the area. It wasn't the worst steakhouse I've been to, but it certainly wasn't the best either. The food was just average. The customer service left a lot to be desired; despite there being available tables, we had to wait quite a while before anyone even acknowledged our presence. We weren't the only ones waiting, as another family had arrived before us. On the bright side, there was plenty to look at in the foyer, and the theme was enjoyable. I would recommend Rod's for the experience—my teenagers enjoyed the adventure of dining there.
Sadly it's closed. Pending sale. Came in for Presidents' Day weekend and the sign says it's closed pending sale!!!!
I've been around the world and had all sorts of meals, and the prime rib with green beans paired with the bean soup and dinner rolls was the best meal I have ever had in my life. I am not exaggerating. As soon as the meat went into my mouth it turned into a delicious fluid that slid into the back of my throat and spelunked its way into my digestive system. Tomorrow, the toilet awaits!!!
