Bidra med feedbackThe girls were very friendly, we ordered 2 tea drinks , they were delicious , I ordered a poke’ bowl , which was fine , my daughter ordered the tonkotsu ramen bowl , when we got home to eat the ramen bowl was not very tasty , very little flavor and the pork belly was horrible, it was stringy and fatty ,it looks like old brown bacon soaked in water , did not look like any pork belly that we get at other ramen places , we drove to another ramen place to get real pork belly . Even their menu shows the real pork belly . Will not eat there again .
Visited this location twice before writing a review, because some times they’re just having a bad day. I got the pick 2 Poke Bowl and milk tea both times with the same ingredients. The first time was in person, the second was delivered. The rice was undercooked both times a major flaw for a poke restaurant! The second time I ordered the spicy tuna was made with cheap tuna scrape mixed with Siracha instead of fresh chopped up tuna. When I ordered delivery the avocado that I paid extra for wasn’t in the bowl. When I visited the store it was not as clean as it should be, especially for somewhere serving raw fish. There was trash outside the door, the floors were dirty, the tables were dingy and there were orphan chairs all over. The staff when I visited just couldn’t be bothered. Didn’t even make eye contact. No smiles. On the pro side, the other ingredients were fresh and the mango was ripe. Portion sizes are generous. When I ordered I asked for my milk tea to be made with milk instead of cream, and they got that right. (Not sure why the milk tea is listed as made with cream on the menu when it’s “milk” tea, but that’s how it is.)Overall not impressed. Unfortunately there aren’t many poke spots in Williamsburg, so this place will probably do ok until there is competition. Do not recommend.
Food was mediocre at best, bobo teas for grandkids were the only saving grace. My beef/rice bow was terrible, stringy beef, mixed in with little else. I'll try another sushi restaurant next time!
This place does allow dine-in. However, everything is packaged to go. So you have to take everything out of the bags and disburse to your family. You have to place your own order on 1 of 2 ipads (then it asks for tips). The food was good, but when you go somewhere for a sit-down meal, it should only be put in to go containers when you order and leave, or if you can't finish and want to take with you.
I love Domoishi! I visit this location at least twice a month and the poke bowls are always delicious. The fish and veggies are fresh and the portions are generous, even if you order on Doordash. One of my favorite quick-service spots in Williamsburg.
