Willow Inn - Willow Grove

My fiancé ordered the New York strip sirloin with shrimp and two sides, and it was absolutely delicious! The margarita was spot on too, especially with the tajín seasoning on the rim. The wait staff has always been friendly, as I've noticed over the years! I do think Willow Inn should consider bringing back the famous Chicken Romano soup. It was one of the most comforting, delicious soups I’ve ever enjoyed during the previous ownership. Bring back the Chicken Romano!

I visited for the first time and had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was larger than it appears from the outside. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive, and there was also live music, which added to the atmosphere.

When our meals arrived, they were absolutely delicious. However, after my husband finished his lobster, he discovered that there were sprinkled peanuts hidden underneath it in the sauce. It seemed that the kitchen had overlooked this detail. The staff was gracious and offered him milk and ice cream to help, but they didn’t offer to comp our meals. Unfortunately, my husband spent the next 24 hours unwell. I returned to request a refund, which I received for his meal only. Because of this experience, we won't be returning due to concerns about food allergies. However, if you don’t have a peanut allergy, the food itself is quite good.

We usually go to sushi places downtown but seeing how due to covid most places are either closed or outdoor seating only, I ordered take out from Ooka for the first time in years. Most of the rolls were edible except for the spicy salmon roll which my family and I noticed tasted strange. It tasted “fake” and claylike, almost as if they had put in a different fish or a salmon substitute altogether. We decided to throw it out since the roll was inedible and quite disgusting frankly, hope that other customers don’t face the same experience we went through and wasted $50.
