Anne Bonny's And Grill - Wilmington

Oh, man, this is probably one of the best spots in Wilmington! My girlfriend and I were in North Carolina on vacation from Georgia, and this place seemed cool. It has a fantastic view as it is right on the river. Your Shrimp Po Boy really meets the point! Oh, now on the best part. Drinks! I had a Davy Jones Daiquiri with a dark rum swimmer, and my girlfriend had a Tropicolada. They were both fantastic! If I ever go back to Wilmington on vacation, I'm sure I'll come back!

Love the spot, love the atmosphere, love the food!! Had crab cakes last night and they were really spot on. If you haven’t been give it a shot.

Absolutely amazing views right along Cape Fear River and even better food. The smoothies here are amazing we had the Mango. The Tropical Chicken Sandwich and the Grilled Cheese were also great. I like cheese curds but the fried versiom served here is not something I am a fan of. Overall a great restaurant for anybody looking for a nice place in Wilmington.

The food here was five stars. It wasn’t anything fancy but that’s exactly what I was looking for after a day spent at the beach and exploring the area. I went around 5:30pm and it was surprisingly quiet, there were a few other groups, but it was just me and two other people seated along the wall overlooking the water. It’s obviously a unique setting being that it’s the only floating restaurant in the area and that’s a great atmosphere for dinner or an evening out with friends. The pricing was great for the portion size. The pretzel was the largest one I had ever seen and even tasted great over the next two days as a leftover. The only reason I gave it four starts instead of five was for service. The woman at the front was incredibly friendly and very quick to help but my waitress just left me feeling like a bother and would barely look me in the eye when I asked for something. I understand the stress everyone is dealing with right now and that people have bad days, but I did want to point out that’s why my review is not five stars. I would return however, because it’s a unique place with a large enough menu that is sure to have something for everyone.
