This is a place worth driving from raleigh. their menu changes daily and it is all local. her conditor is also phenomenal.

Wow, what a wonderful birthday dinner. A restaurant we wanted to try and it wasn't disappointed. They gave us the birthday menu to bring home, very unique and special. The drinks were cocktails. My smoke therapy with mezcal and cinnamon was fabulous. We shared smoked fish dive, full of large fish pieces, served with pimples and crackers. The Ana oysters were thin and large, perfect local oysters. The duck I had was limited and absolutely phenomenal. The skin was crispy and fell from the bone. Served with a stunning array of broccoli, sweet potato, apples and radishes. The Flounder was light and fluffy with cauliflower, broccoli and carrots. We have a chocolate Swiss roll filled with dark chocolate and served with whipped cream. I couldn't ask for a better night. We will definitely come back.

This restaurant serves more than a meal, it is a whole experience! I had reservations about my birthday and they really made it a night to remember. I was too busy having such a great time to remember taking photos of all our amazing plates and beautifully designed drinks. Our server was great. Between our party of 4 we tried what seemed like half the food and drinks menus and absolutely loved everything!

My husband and I celebrated our 15th. Jubilee, and it was absolutely beautiful. From the snacks to dessert, the food was delicious and the service attentive. Amanda was thrilled, and the manager wanted us his best personally. A wonderful culinary experience!

Great culinary experience! I made reservations this week. I wrote in the notes section that my wife was allergic to garlic. The staff and the cook did a great job and gave her several ways to decide. She got days fried chicken and I got the shrimps and grits! Damn it, it was good!! The Pimento cheese appetizer and small biscuits were also great. What a great experience!
