Black Bear Diner - Wilsonville

The food we had was better than anything we've ever tasted. The chicken breast was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—I didn’t even need a knife to cut it, unlike at other restaurants where it was tough and hard to slice. The beef dish was actually shredded brisket with potatoes, and I’ve never had burnt beef done so perfectly before. The biscuits and gravy were also the best I’ve ever had; the biscuits were large and fluffy, and the gravy was outstanding. The coffee was excellent, and the service was great as well. I just wish this restaurant were closer to our home so we could visit more often. However, even with a 40-minute drive, it would still be worth it!

Breakfast was fantastic! The food arrived at lightning speed! This plate is huge! I snapped a photo of the banana cream cake, but I couldn't manage to save any room for it. There's just so much food! You really can't complain, though, because it tastes amazing—especially the bacon!

The food was enjoyable overall. I didn't manage to finish the 10oz burger I ordered, but it was tasty. I was hoping for a secret burger called Big Daddy that wasn't listed on the menu, but unfortunately, it wasn't available. The Turkish dinner was flavorful. The service was acceptable, though our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed and forgot a couple of items, like a lemonade and a salad. Despite these hiccups, I appreciate you being open and providing the experience. Thank you!

We visit alaska and decided to stop here for a decent meal on the way to the airport, as we are sick by Fast Food during the trip. The place is understaffed, but very hard to work to accommodate customers. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and marvelous. The food was really good and the price was right. This was my first visit to this restaurant and I will definitely return when I am back in the Portland region.

You just can't go wrong with this place. Everything is top of the line and homemade.But you must go hungry because the portions are giant.
