Drinks were amazing, food was delicious! 100% would return if we were in the area. The owner Jeff had an Air BnB down the road and is the nicest guy!
Nice small atmosphere . Cordial staff, turkey dinner was excellent. Smaller portion for early bird diners but just enough for mid afternoon lunch. Regular size portion available too. A go back to again choice in the future.
I thoroughly enjoy dining at Winslow's! Jeff the chef and owner has always served fantastic meals in a relaxing environment. He is Hyde Culinary Institute of America graduate. Do I need to say more?
We had the pleasure of dining at one of the best restaurants in Saratoga County. Located just north of Saratoga Springs on Route 9, it’s only a 10-minute drive from downtown. Our group consisted of nine people, including a little one in a high chair, which Hayly had freshly cleaned and sanitized! We were occasionally assisted by Joanne, who was a delight to meet, along with Hayly. Our waiter, Devon, was incredibly attentive to our needs, ensuring our drinks were refilled and the table was cleared promptly. He even recommended the DELICIOUS cornbread that comes with the Sirloin Steak dinner, which we all enjoyed. Chef Jeff Baker prepared all of our meals, and his house special, Tessie's Oven Soaked Turkey with Dressing, was a favorite among four of us. We also sampled two orders each of the House Butchered Char Grilled Choice Sirloin Steak and the Char Grilled Center Cut Boneless Pork Chops, plus a Fettuccine Carbonara. Each dish was served in generous portions, almost family-style, and there was more than enough for everyone! We dined in a lovely outdoor area under a large awning, and despite the warm July day (July 4, 2020), it remained very comfortable. After finishing our drinks and salads, we treated the kids to some fun by the koi pond, feeding the large fish pieces of French bread, which also made for some great photos! When it came time for dessert, we couldn't resist ordering a few options, all of which were scrumptious. We indulged in Banana Cream Pie, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Cream Pie, and Cheesecake—definitely a must after such a satisfying meal! To top off the evening, Chef Jeff was kind enough to stop by our table. It turned out he and one of my friends were high school classmates, and we enjoyed reminiscing about their families, who have been in the bar and restaurant business since the 1950s, including his grandparents, Harold and Tessie Winslow, the founders of Winslow's. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend!
