I visited Pizza express salisbury with 4 friends Saturday night ,we ordered our drinks and starters and they arrived ok , the problem was the main course took 1h 45mins to arrive , they lost the ticket in the kitchen , every time we asked we were kind of ignored as we were teenagers, non of us will be eating at this establishment anytime soon !!
The food at Pizza Express was delicious and served piping hot from their standard menu. However, our dining experience was marred by a distracted waitress who seemed more focused on her phone than on attending to the customers.
Located in a lovely spot across from the city square and guildhall, this small Pizza Express was a bit disappointing. It took a while to be seated as I waited for someone to acknowledge me. The lone waitress was clearly overwhelmed and lacked support, so I couldn't fault her for the slow service. Opting for takeaway, I had to wait again to place my order and struggled to get the waitress's attention, with no offer for a drink. Dealing with some intoxicated customers didn't help either. I ordered the giadinera with regular mozzarella to go. It seemed like Pizza Hut had instructed to skimp on ingredients. The only decent portion was the artichokes. The tomato sauce was scarce, and the excessive raw onion overpowered everything by smell and taste. I had to remove a lot of it sadly. The amount of mozzarella was lacking, and the base wasn't crispy. It's a shame as they used to be so good and were the true taste of Italy in the UK.
Pizza was shocking, and not worth £2 let alone 10.95. portion small and had to send back to ask for more CHEESE?!
