The Winterbourne Arms - Wiltshire

Stopped by Winterbourne with some friends and ended up dining at this restaurant. They offer typical pub fare along with some appealing specials. The service was pleasant and the prices were fair. Overall, it was a decent experience, although nothing particularly memorable. I would consider returning in the future.

We took our granddaughter to Bournemouth for the day and planned to dine at the Table to Table pub for dinner. However, upon arrival, we were informed that there was no chef and no food available. We decided to look for another restaurant for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and our waitress was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be returning to Bournemouth next month, and guess where we will be stopping for dinner again!

I was fortunate to have a positive experience at this restaurant. While staying at a nearby hotel, I discovered that the pub next door had temporarily stopped serving food. I decided to try this pub instead and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service from the staff. I ordered the rib eye, which was priced well, came out quickly, and was cooked to perfection. I also tried the recommended Dorset apple cake, which I had never heard of before but thoroughly enjoyed. The pub has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, good beer selection, and delicious food. Additionally, it is dog-friendly, which is a bonus.

Visited yesterday with our dog, who received the VIP treatment! The landlady was incredibly welcoming and checked in with us, and Buddy, frequently. The food was outstanding (compliments to the chef! and service was brilliant. A lovely evening at a very friendly pub. Thank you!

A really great find. Good food, very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend giving them a try. Lots going on too.
