La Trattoria - Winchester

Hopefully this was a fluke: we were seated fairly promptly and sat 15 minutes with no service. Our waitress finally took our drink order and over one half hour later took our order. We received the appetizer in another 15 minutes but still had no dinner, no attention nor explanation after another half hour- at which time there was no crowd! We left money for the appetizer and exited! We really wanted to live it here, so perhaps we were just subject to mixup with no explanation. All in all we spent 1 and 1 half hours approx without food. Server and bartender provided excellent service. It was her first time making a Dark and Stormy, and she nailed the flavors perfectly. Very courteous as well. I can't recommend her enough!

This is an incredible discovery in Winchester! The food is fresh and tasty, and they truly embody the atmosphere of a neighborhood trattoria. My absolute favorite dish is the orzo salad, but I prefer it with a meatball instead of chicken!

They accommodated us as they were doing some remodeling. Very nice. We sat outside. Use the bathroom on the left if you're there! A well is covered with plexiglass. Certainly a working well in the day! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
