King Buffet - Winder

We visited today and were pleasantly surprised. Although the exterior isn’t particularly impressive, the food was delicious and fresh. The hot and sour soup was especially tasty. The prices are quite reasonable too—our meal for two, including the buffet and drinks, came to under $20. While the selection is somewhat limited, I prefer that if it means the food is fresh, and it definitely was here.

Delicious! I haven't visited this place in several years due to life's circumstances. I've always enjoyed their buffet, but today I tried their delivery service. What a fantastic meal! I really appreciate supporting our local small business owners in Winder. It's consistently a great dining experience. I'm so glad they are making it through these tough times. Your hard work is truly appreciated!

This restaurant is quite dated and could really use a makeover, but the food is fantastic and the value is excellent. I enjoyed everything I ordered!

Ok, so first things first. The food is pretty alright. The snow shrimp was actually really good. None of the fried foods tasted of old oil or anything else typical of Chinese buffets. The food and service are worth 3.5 stars. The price was also very reasonable. Less than $8 for all you can eat. The cleanliness, however, left much to be desired. The dining area smelled of cigarette smoke. And while we were eating, a kitchen worker took a smoke break in the bathroom. This was apparent from the smell which filled the entire restaurant. I went into the bathroom directly after him (mostly to confirm my suspicion) and there is no doubt that he was smoking in the bathroom. Overall appeal of the place is pretty low: old trim, dirty vents, sticky walls, etc. The table was very clean, and the buffet itself was very clean. Take from this what you will. 3 stars is probably a little generous given the whole smoking thing. The food was pretty tasty, the dining experience was not great.

We have enjoyed this family owned business for years. The best and freshet buffet I have ever been to. Do not let the looks fool you. It's a small buffet but only quality not quantity lives here. I've enjoyed watch the kids grow up. The family that owns this place are warm and loving people.
