Mazzio's Italian Eatery - Winder

During our initial visit, we encountered an unfriendly waitress. However, our second visit was better, though we still did not enjoy the food. The first waitress left a negative impression, making me hesitant to return. When I requested a take-out menu, I was informed that they did not have one, even though I had observed others ordering take-out from the entrance with menus attached to their orders.

Wow, I can't believe I've lived near this restaurant for 7 years and never tried it until now. I ordered the chicken spinach alfredo pizza and it was absolutely delicious! My grandson finished his entire pizza, which is rare for him. My granddaughter had the 4 meat ring, which looked amazing and was packed with meat and cheese. The service was excellent and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. The pizza here is better than any other local delivery option I've tried.

Many people overlook Mazzio's, but I find it to be a great spot for a quick lunch. The buffet is always bustling, ensuring that there is a constant supply of fresh pizza available. The salad bar may be small, but the ingredients are always fresh. The owner is often present, indicating a hands-on approach to running the business. The restaurant has a blue collar, hardworking atmosphere that I appreciate.

Tonight for the first time, it'll be the last time. we were not warned that there would be a very long waiting period. it took an hour to get our food and it didn't come out immediately. the image of the calzone on the menu is also very deceptive, it shows the calzone as beautiful fluffy, full calzone. the calzone here are the flattest calzone I've ever had, very fat and little substance.

We just moved to here 2 days ago. So this was our first time eating here. The restaurant was very busy so we thought that it must be good! After 1 hour of waiting on our food, the waitress came over and told us she didn't know what happened to our order but they were making it now!! She did make it right by giving us our whole order for free! When we finally got our food, it was delicious! We will probably give them another shot but not right away.
