Lovely India - Windermere

We ordered takeout for dinner. My prawn korma and naan were delicious. However, my partner's medium butter chicken was too sweet and lacked spice.

I didn't want to say anything, but after being asked to leave a review via email, I feel I have to share my experience with Lovely India. Indian food is usually a favorite of mine, but unfortunately, I will not be ordering from Lovely India again after my recent experiences. I've found that the frozen Indian meals at Coles are better quality, cheaper, and they even deliver to your door in the Cannonvale, Island Drive area. The delivery cost is $10 with a service fee of $0.81. The delivery driver will call you to collect your order from their car window, which I found to be a bit strange and inconvenient. I have had this experience multiple times and I believe that most delivery services in the city would not charge for such poor service. Overall, my experience with Lovely India was disappointing with bad delivery and service, along with high prices.

Fantastic food and beautiful place. Just came by chance and we are very surprised by the tastes. The whole family loved eating!!

The food at this restaurant was excellent. We began our meal with a prawn starter, followed by the fish in mango sauce and a beef dish cooked in Malibu. The naan was also very delicious. Overall, we had a lovely dinner experience.

I had quite a lot of Indian food in my life including food in India. Unfortunately this was the worst Indian food experience I ever experienced in my live. I am very sad of wasting food and money. The food is anything else, not close...to Indian food and contents to much sugar. I can not recommend this restaurant at all. This was my first and last experience with Lovely India.
