Bidra med feedbackI came to visit Windsor Castle, had some extra time. and decided to walk around the local area. I am glad that I did since I found Peascod Street. This is a lovely street, covered in cobblestones, directly down the hill from the castle. There is only foot traffic on this street which is pleasant as it is fairly wide leaving plenty of room to walk and windowshop. The street is lined with all kinds of shops from food to clothing. The Krispy Kreme is one of the first shops closest to the top of the hill and the beginning of the street. There are some tables outside on the street and a few I think 3) booths inside. The shop was clean with a great selection and display of donuts. You order, pay, and collect at the counter. The staff was very friendly. I noticed from one of the other reviewers an important point, they are cashless. They only accept electronic payments so don’t be offended if you can’t use your pounds at this location. I got glazed donuts. They were, as always, consistently delicious. If you want a nice place to get a good donut near Windsor Castle, this is a great place to do that.
My first time in a Krispy Kreme cafe and we enjoyed an excellent flat white coffee. Unfortunately it was too soon after our hotel breakfast for us to order a doughnut but I now have a mental list of the ones I want to try!
Well what a place for the wide eyed desert lover. The whole menu is filled with delights I love everything But my waistline doesn't.
The best doughnuts in Windsor. Tasty with the right amount of sweetness and a real doughnut flavour. Krispy Kreme lightly fry their doughnuts which makes them delicious without a greasy aftertaste unlike other doughnut shops which use baked bread rolls loaded with tons of sugar, not real doughnuts and twice the price. Great service from Gary, Rachel and Coco. With a smile and polite.
Often go here to get a pack of 3 doughnuts. Coffee is ok too. The goto place in Windsor for doughnuts.
