Bidra med feedbackI understand that this place is very popular, but my experience was just okay. I sampled several dishes, including the fried chicken that everyone seems to love. While it was tasty, I couldn’t help but think that KFC also serves great chicken—and you get a bucket along with plenty of sides for the same price. The drinks were quite overpriced as well, although they were enjoyable.
Since they reopened after the fire in Windsor, I've been taking my friend to Sweet Ts, and we've been regulars since then. During the pandemic, I was doing takeout weekly, literally every Friday night. We always order the same dishes: my friend loves her vegetables, while I only eat dark meat fried chicken—it's the only way I can enjoy chicken. However, our experience tonight was quite disappointing. We had a new waitress who seemed lovely, but she mixed up our orders. She brought the wrong size vegetables for my vegetarian friend, who needs large portions. Instead of the mushrooms I usually enjoy with my mashed potatoes, I received a small bowl that included carrots. Not ideal for topping my potatoes. Additionally, I was served two pieces of dark meat alongside two pieces of white meat—the largest being white—which I simply can’t eat. I had to send it back. Despite my background as a head waitress and restaurant manager, I wouldn't normally complain about a dish. But white meat is a dealbreaker for me. While I waited for a resolution, the bartender kindly offered me a free drink. When I returned to the table, Patty, the owner, came out and unexpectedly kicked us out of the restaurant. She actually escorted us out and even opened the door to ensure we left. We were shocked and confused, as we had done nothing to provoke such an extreme response. We just wanted our meals. Afterward, I spoke with the staff members who have served us for years, and they were equally surprised. They said we were easy customers and that we always ordered the same thing, but for some reason, this Friday was different. It’s heartbreaking because Sweet Ts has always been our go-to spot. Yes, it might be a bit pricey, but I’ve enjoyed the waitstaff, many of whom have since left. I can now see why—dealing with the owner, Ann, is extremely difficult. She never came over to find out our side of the story or to see how she could help; she simply told us to leave without asking for an explanation. It’s truly disappointing that this incredible restaurant has stooped to such a level. I never expected this reaction and will certainly not be returning. I suppose it was time to branch out anyway, as we’ve been in a rut going to the same place every Friday, but I’m still taken aback. For those who continue to visit, proceed with caution. Ann's behavior was downright awful, clearly unwilling to listen to us. It’s unfortunate that she seemed to take out her bad night on loyal customers who have always tipped well. This approach to business isn’t smart, especially in the current economy. I’m a business owner in Sonoma County with 200 employees over 17 years, and I understand how to run a business and train staff properly. I sincerely hope she reflects on this experience, but either way, I won’t be returning. It was an awful, unnecessary experience—zero stars, without a doubt.
The menu has a fantastic variety, and the service from the staff is excellent. The BBQ combination was incredible. It's always a wonderful place to dine!
You got to be good if im traveling more than an hour to eat your food!! A rerun of the bay area 'a own Check please! where local foodies review places they love to eat had me and my family planning a day trip to chow down. Im gonna need this place in Vallejo tho! SweetT 's is absolutely, wonderfully warm inviting inside. Great place for the family, friends, and a intimate date night. Once seated we were quickly greeted by our waiter who was Johny on the spot with gettng our drinks and appetizers in. I could easily drive back just for the Crispy fried Brussel sprouts and a Shirly temple alone. I loved how they set up thier restroom area with gender neutral stalls and a big public sink. I even got caught by one of the owners wiping down one side of the sink after finishing washing my hands. He turned to me and asked if would like to come work at the restaurant. Ha! If he only knew I probably would have said yes if I lived closer... Everything was delicious but I 'll let the pictures tell the rest...Ciao for now!
