Chimney Park - Windsor

My family has been living in Northern Colorado for nine years and dining out frequently. Chimney Park is hands down the top restaurant in the area. There is simply no competition. Although it may be pricey, the experience is well worth it.

My husband called ahead to let the restaurant know it was my 60th birthday and that we were hosting friends from California. Unfortunately, nothing special was done to acknowledge the occasion. We ordered a dessert, but there was no mention, song, or special presentation. It was a disappointing and uneventful experience, especially after we had talked up the restaurant to our friends.

Good but not great, as it usually is. Maybe it was due to being very busy, but they seemed missed the mark on the food tonight. Still one of our favorite places in NoCo.

Consistently, outstanding food, service, ambience, and close to home. Never disappointed.

I ate here a year ago and had the chefs tasting menu and it was wonderful. This time I was very disappointed, I don't know if the chef has changed or not but the tasting menu stunk.
