Bidra med feedbackWhile dining, and we were the only ones there for an hour from 6pm, there were many orders of take away, and you can see why. The food tasted good, but the service was average at best. First we ordered a mixed entrée which said it included the above 5 entrée yet we only received 4. When we queried this, the waitress didn't understand what we were saying, probably due to a language barrier. We got there in the end, but the menu needs to be changed if you aren't willing to provide the 5 said dishes. We each ordered our own meals with 2 of our party of 4 sharing. We weren't all sharing, yet 2 meals came out and was a little wait for the next 2. We felt there was an assumption that we were all sharing. We won't be dining in again, but may consider take away.Price was average (about $100 for the 4 of us).
The food we ordered was simply not edible...will never go back. Swimming in oil and cheap ingredients used. Take yourselves to Blossom Thai in Toorak Road, South Yarra for an unforgetable meal..
My son recently moved to Prahran and so we decided to try the local Thai Restaurant. Alarm bells should have rung as the restaurant was empty when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday night. We ordered satay pork, beef with basil and prawn with lemongrass. The beef dish was so salty it was almost inedible, the prawn dish was tastless and almost stone cold and the satay pork was smothered in peanut sauce. The small bowls of rice provided were $6.50 each, cold and gluggy. Honestly the most awful Thai meal we have ever eaten. Never ever again.
Everything on their menu is tasty, although now I skip the entrees to attack the red curry while I'm hungry. It is mouthwateringly delicious, not too hot and the spices are home made. Their coconut rice is so moreish that I always eat some straight! This restaurant may not look so stylish, but we have not ever taken anyone who has not raved about the food.
I was agreeably surprised by this small restaurant. There are quite a few tables on the footpath as well. The menu is quite large and varied, and if you want spicy flavours, you have only to ask, to be given a bowl of fresh sliced chilli. The green curry was quite spicy, as well as being served nicely hot. The dick salad could have been spicier, so I added chilli. The service was efficient and charming, and I was pleased to find Thai beers on the menu - I am fond of Chang - as well as the usual European brews. I couldn't fit dessert in, alas. I will certainly come back.
