The Duke - Windsor and Maidenhead

Great atmosphere, beautiful staff and the muscheln are beautiful!

Bark meat and ale cake was fantastic! pravha wasn't too ashamed either.

The duke is the new place to be in sunninghill. that's the community pub we've been waiting for. as he was reopened by the wonderful new renter andras, he organized 2 special events for me. my book start and the wake of my mother. both experiences were incredible and the book start was the best party I held! if they were looking for a party or more cozy celebration, this is their place. It is also great for a drink, even if they are on their own faust. it is so friendly and everyone is always welcome and the staff and chefs are amazing! we all love you in the coming. x

Great food. Great new management. Andre has managed to build a local community pub back better in the face of adversity. Sit at the bar and chat to the locals. Dogs are more than welcome. Intact they get treated like royalty!

All the (5 star! reviews really are representative of this wonderful pub! The ambiance is great, the gentleman and lady serving were genuinely smiley, polite and efficient. And to cap it all I thought I'd end up with a tab much higher than it actually was. On a personal level, it's even better as we can easily walk to it (but not sure about back !
