India Palace Sweet Restaurant - Windsor

Not many places in windsor for Indian food and this is the best! They have great veggie options, lamb and chicken with great Naan variety. Affordable prices too!

Food is excellent. I got Lamb Korma & my son got Chicken Curry & husband got Palace Biryani (rice w/lamb & chicken). Everything is a la carte. We have to order breads & rice separate. The medium spice level is not to hot and not bland, so to me a true medium. The platter of rice is enough for two& the naan & roti are fair sized. I found my lamb well cooked & spiced. The biryani got rave reviews & the chicken curry was great to a teenage boy.Waited 1-1/2 hours almost for food. The kitchen is either disorganized or they were understaffed. The one waitress was working as fast as possible but finally joined by another. I know it's family run, but need to step it up. The stars are strictly for the food.

A very disappointing meal and would not return. Not one member of staff to meet, greet or seat us. Poor service, our server opted to put clean plates in front of empty places rather clear the appetizer plates (we did this ourselves) Onion bhajis were more like deep fried onion strips in batter. Witnessed an elderly diner waiting to pay his check and stood at the till ringing the bell 4 times before anyone came. The dining room has a deep freezer covered with a table cloth from which staff came and took frozen food- surely should have been in a separate food preparation area and certainly not fresh ingredients being used.

I dropped in one rainy friday afternoon. the meal tasted terrible, the portion was small, the service was fine.

The best Indian food in Windsor. So yummy and fresh. I have found the service to be a little slow sometimes if you dine in though.
