Mare Nostrum - Windsor

I've come here a couple times to have lunch with a friend, and it has been delicious both times! Such a cute and clean restaurant on campus, convenient to go to during breaks between classes. They have a wide variety of foods from shawarma to pasta to salad, and each option is delicious! The owner is very nice, and I've enjoyed talking to him and coming here with company. Thank you!

It is such an amazing place run by two great individuals! The food is always fresh. The chef is amazing. The food is priced to fit a university student's budget and is also perfect for meetings. Great service always!

I absolutely love this place. For many reasons. The food is absolutely delicious. It truly offers everything Mediterranean but with a Canadian touch to enhance the flavor. The food presentation is wonderful too. It's not like a fast food or campus restaurant where they hand you food on a paper tray. Food here is served beautifully, even coffee is served in a shiny white mug with sugar and cream presented to you on the side. The service is wonderful, the owner is so nice and remembers everyone by name or face, and remembers what they like. When you walk in they normally give you ice water, but he knows I don't like ice water so he always brings me water with lemon. The decor is wonderful, the bathrooms are clean, the prices are student friendly.

The food is so good..chicken, salad, dressings, hummous, garlic sauce, spinach pies, kibbe..i could eat it every day..soooooo good.

Everything I have tried has been delicious. My favourite is the spinach pies, but also the lentil soup and chicken Shawarma are fantastic. I am happy to see that it is always busy and you should get there early if you want a table during the lunch hour.It is great to have a nice place to eat on campus! Thanks Adam!
