Buffs Club - WINNELLIE

One of Darwin's oldest Clubs and to be fair hasn't changed all that much - pokies been added and a TAB but vibe is still of an older Darwin Pub. Friendly staff, cold beer and reasonable Club prices. Food is basic but good with a generous serve - no fanfare. Entertainment some Friday nights and weekends - usually good ol' country and well received by locals. All sports on Fox. Good chill out and plenty of characters to meet and talk with. Buy a local a beer and get free entertainment!!

I've enjoyed every meal here I don't think there one that's been crook! always been to bigger serve and or to mouthwatering to complete so I'll take half home and have it for smoko the next day.just read the terrible review at that guy got swore at you deserve every bit of that the service old fashioned and the club is dated but the food is excellent

In all my years in Darwin I have not been here until last month when invited by a friend. Great lunch specials, generous serves and nice dining room. Good to duck in and get a nice meal during lunch break or a leasurely meal with friends. Well patronised by workers.

We'd not gone in before because you can't see in but don't let that stop you. there's a big outdoor smoking area but inside it's everything you would expect at a local club, pool tables, sport on TV, pokies. It's clean, the staff are friendly and the food is great, good food and good prices. We felt welcome and enjoyed our afternoon.

Face it - It's a working man's pub complete with sports betting and pool tables, and full of grubby manual workers, and there is nothing wrong with that, but there is almost no atmosphere or ambience there.However..... It does have the most amazing food and the prices are awesome. A tasty fish and chip meal will set you back about $14. There is a lot of hearty roasts, stews, and pies.If you are travelling on a budget, this is a great place to come. It is a bit of a walk from the CBD, but buses run up and down the Stuart Highway all the time, with bus stops on either side of the road close by. It is easy to find as it is directly opposite Officeworks.
