Olive Garden - Winnipeg

Excellent service and food portions are generous and served promptly. No surprises and a bustling family oriented environment. A decent Italian red blend house wine for cheap. We particularly enjoyed the lightly breaded shrimp/ pepper/ onion appetizer with dips.

Overall, we always love the Olive Garden. You can't go wrong with the Soup, Salad and Breadsticks. There could have been more salad for the 2 of us with less croutons, but it's always delicious. The chocolate lasagna cake was UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS!! The donuts had waayyyy too much icing sugar. So much, we could have built a snow fort on the plate lol Have noticed the Hostesses/Hosts are not as friendly as they used to be. Hardly a smile comes across their faces and not very welcoming. Our server was fantastic though!!

I've been here quite a few times and every time the place is clean and amazing.The food is always great, the staff are always friendly. You rarely wait long for the bread, soup/salad, or your meal when you order. The staff are also there if you need a refill or anything else.

First time at Olive Garden in Canada. Food was good but our server Ash needs more training and listening skills. I asked for salad with my meal and got soup. Ten minutes after our food arrive Ash came to check on us an that is when he realized we had no silverware. I was never offered a refill for my soda. Good food not the best service.

I've never left a google review before but I have to for this. I was at Olive Garden on July 28th at around 2pm. I had just come from the St. James clinic and there was an issue with how they flushed my ears resulting in a referral to a specialist. I was unable to hear out of my left ear at all, could barely hear out of my right ear, and was in pain. I wanted to grab food before work and my server that day was a very soft spoken, kind, older lady. I believe she had reddish dark hair and glasses if I remember correctly. But I don't remember her name. I have never had a better experience. Even though I was crying the whole time because of the issue with my ears, she was so so kind and so compassionate. Her kindness was exactly what I needed that day. When I was done, she helped me box everything and when she handed me my receipt she had drawn an adorable smiley face on it. She made a terrible day significantly better, so much so that now two days later I'm writing about it because I want her to know she made my day. Even though I was crying during my solo dinner, she made my day so, so good and I left smiling. An amazing waitress. I wish I had her name, but she'll know who she is. Amazing experience.
