Seine River Cafe - Winnipeg

I've been visiting Seine for years. Many of the servers have been there for a long time, and they know everyone by name. The food is great. The only drawback is the difficulty of making a left turn onto Provenchier when leaving the parking lot.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was prompt. It's a small spot that fills up quickly during breakfast and lunch hours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back again!

I’ve never felt so disrespected at a restaurant as I did today. The wait staff completely ignored me and my husband. We waited 20 minutes just for a glass of water, and overall, we went 40 minutes without any service at all. I had to fetch my own menus, and a waitress even walked right past us without acknowledging us. This was my first visit, and it will certainly be my last. It was very rude and disappointing. I do not recommend this place.

The food here is quite good and reasonably priced. They even have a discount for seniors over 50, which is a nice perk. The burger we ordered was fantastic! It was thick and clearly homemade, and the fries were delicious as well. However, I wasn't satisfied with the coffee; it was a bit too weak for my taste, but I do prefer mine to be very strong. The staff was really friendly. While the ambiance isn't much to write home about and it got a little crowded, it was still acceptable. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Since I moved to St. Boniface about a year and a half ago, Seine River Cafe has become my absolute favorite place to eat. The staff is wonderful, the food is delicious, and I've never left feeling hungry. It has a strong sense of community that really warms my heart. If you haven't been yet, treat yourself and give it a try!
