The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre

My wife, immediate family, and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at The Met on April 29th, 2013. We informed CanadInns in advance that it was a special occasion, and the staff did not disappoint. We were fortunate to have the entire venue to ourselves, as they were gearing up for a private event the following night. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like royalty. We were even surprised with a complimentary bottle of delicious champagne. The meals were fantastic, with the exception of a minor issue that was promptly and satisfactorily addressed by the staff. One of the highlights of our experience was the breathtaking beauty of the restored theatre. CanadInns has done a remarkable job of bringing this historic venue back to its former glory while incorporating modern touches. Thank you to the staff at CanadInns for making our anniversary celebration truly memorable.

Last night, we celebrated my 30th high school reunion dinner at your restaurant and our group had an amazing time. The staff were fantastic and I especially appreciated the place cards, as I didn't have time to make name tags. It was a classy touch that helped some of the girls reconnect after 30 years. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the venue. We started the evening on the patio, which impressed everyone, especially those who hadn't been back to Winnipeg in a while. Your staff, "our three men," were exceptional and made us feel like VIPs. I can't say enough good things about the evening, so please pass on my thanks to all your staff. Well done! Danielle

Gorgeous location, amazing staff. If you're looking for a place to host your event with professionalism, efficiency, and a memorable atmosphere for your guests, this is the place for you. Janet and her team work seamlessly to ensure that everything from timing to food to the overall ambiance is top-notch. I can't praise this venue and its staff enough!

Went here during the first jets street party... I had no idea that this place was this nice and such a big screen! I’ll be back. Staff were friendly and handled the hundreds of people inside very well.
