What has happened to this fish and chip shop? It used to be so good. We asked for a fresh fish and they refused to cook one saying that the cold soggy ones already done had just come out. They had clearly been sat there for hours. Ended up getting a pie with chips. The chips were freezing cold and inedible. Paid so much for this and did not enjoy.

Called in on my way home yesterday 09/02/24 at 5:30pm for a large chips with gravy, I know its a bit pricy, its even advertised but was a treat, .... was still a bit shocked at £5.50 ! But then when i got home and saw the portion size (the Chips and gravy i was really annoyed at myself for paying up and not checking what i was given. Wont be doing that again, sorry but you have just lost a customer, I just won't call again.

The staff are lovely and welcoming the food is worth the price had fish and chips and the fish was huge and the chips were perfectly done. the pies are lovely too
