Ichiban Japanese - Winston-Salem

Yesterday I had a lunch with my friend. We ordered chicken teriyaki and shrimp fried rice. We found out that the broccoli was Rotten and turned yellow. The owner asked me if. everything is okay so I said no. I explained but she didn't say anything or even sorry about that. Later the other owner brought the recipe for our food and I told that broccoli and cabbage was rotten and he told me it's not rotten the weather is hot that's why it looks like that!!! My husband had hibachi fish with fried rice. He just liked the fish. I had teriyaki chicken with fried rice. I enjoyed the chicken and the vegetables. We don?t know how this was possible, but the fried rice was terrible. I had miso soup and it was good. My husband had spring roll and it was really good. We saw a small cockroach close to our table and there was a white powder close to the wall, so I image they are already taking care of this problem.

The staff were friendly and prompt when I arrived. Social distancing followed in this restaurant. Every other table seating. Food was hot and quick out of the kitchen. Basic staples here. Sushi, hibachi, noodles, etc. Good for a quick bite without the fancy thrills of a fancy place.

Yummy! This is a great place for Japanese food! I had Hibachi shrimps and a salmon roll! I highly recommend this place!

Went tonight for the first time. Prompt and kind customer service. Amazing food; we tried a little but of everything. New favorite sushi spot in Winston Salem; hidden gem.
