Mozelle's Fresh Southern Bistro

Lovely, welcoming restaurant. Good lighting. Food very fresh and well-prepared. Shrimp and grits delicious, as were the amazing hushpuppies and arugula salads. An excellent choice in Winston-Salem.

Everything was delightful, but do yourself a favor. Get the kale salad. Full stop.

Even though I am not a fan of tables being so close together, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I ordered the green chile pork bowl with two poached eggs. The pork didn't look very appetizing and the green chile sauce had a strong smell that I wasn't too fond of. However, once I mixed everything together... the flavors were incredible. The pork was incredibly tender and the grits were deliciously creamy. Overall, a great dish.

I always crave the tomato pie from this restaurant and can never go too long without it. We adore Sophie, she is an excellent server.
