Bidra med feedbackThis is a revision of my previous review from 10 months ago. I wish I could rate this place higher because it has so much potential, and I'm really hoping to find a great breakfast spot in downtown that works for me. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing overall and too pricey for what I received. I ordered Eggs Benedict with potatoes, but the Benedict arrived completely cold—no warmth or steam whatsoever. Cold eggs on a biscuit just don't cut it. The potatoes had a nice flavor, but they were also served lukewarm. The server was friendly during the initial greeting, but he never returned to check on my meal or see if I needed anything. He only came back to bring the check. I would have asked him to microwave my food or bring some ketchup and napkins, but he was nowhere to be found. I ended up finishing most of my cold meal, paid the bill, and left. I don’t think I’ll be coming back. On a positive note, the food is visually appealing.
Great food! I had an omelette with potatoes, and it was outstanding. I will definitely return, especially for the chicken and waffles, which were quite large. While it's not cheap, the freshness and generous portions make it worth it.
We’re so happy we discovered this hidden gem! We didn't have to wait and were able to sit outside to enjoy the lovely weather. The menu is straightforward yet delicious, and the Piccolo Coffee Co inside offers a fantastic selection of specialty syrups and beverages.
Eggs Oats is conveniently located in downtown conservatory, in front of the center of Centennial Plaza. It is impressive that, although the facade of the restaurant is quite simple, with a few tables and chairs in front of it when you go inside, it seems as if you were transported into a scenic riding style dining shop in the countryside. The coffee is good, with your typical free refills, but the mix of beans make it taste like the actual coffee, and not your regular dirty water mix from most chain breakfast restaurants. They also have oat milk (to live up to its name). About food they have gluten-free options, such as bread with avocado in the pictures, and their homemade potatoes are unmistakably seasoned to taste like no other. As far as my cat's omelet is concerned, it was somewhat short of my expectations regarding the wort, and it was a little dry, especially when chewing the parts with the crushed chicken, but the parts with the vegetables and bacon was well moistened. Overall, it is a great option with friendly staff who needs some work on some dishes, but their location is unbeatable, especially on Saturday after the peasant market, because it is in front of the parking garage and next to the market area itself.
Great food and coffee. We loved sitting outside on the terrace with our dog. I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had the Veg chicken and waffles. A great thank you to our server that helped our hungry 3 years! We'll be back.
