Anclas Latin Cafe - Winter Park

We drove 40 minutes from Kissimmee to dine at Anclas Latin Cafe Restaurant, and it was well worth it. We enjoyed the lobster stuffed with shrimp and octopus in their homemade garlic butter sauce, as well as the yuca (cassava) mofongo topped with shrimp and the same delicious sauce. Both dishes were not only incredibly tasty but also beautifully presented when served. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the owners/chefs came to our table to check on our food and service. We highly recommend this restaurant!

In search of something new, we stumbled upon a restaurant for a simple meal that turned out to be an incredible experience. I had the best surprise at the seafood festival and decided to indulge! I ordered the lobster-filled seafood salad topped with octopus and red shrimp spears, served alongside black beans and rice. I also tried the roasted Mahi plate with fries. While the fried fish was a bit dry, it was packed with flavor, especially when paired with the delicious sauce that accompanied the lobster. I’ve never tasted a cream-white sauce that was as good as this one! When our dishes were brought out, I felt like royalty. The presentation was so stunning that I regretted not taking a photo to keep in my wallet, almost like showing off a new family member or something! Everything was truly remarkable—rich, well-seasoned, yet balanced and fresh. The service was exceptional, and the host was very personal. Your seafood specialties are now part of my holiday traditions, at least for the last few deliveries! We will definitely be coming back!

I visited last week and returned today as well. The food is flavorful; the Cassava Mofongo with shrimp in garlic sauce was exquisite. The Zilantro is fantastic. Our server, Tamarah, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The restaurant is small, yet very pleasant and clean. I will definitely be coming back!

Drove looking for somewhere to eat and found this little restaurant and decided to try it. I'm glad we did this because the food and service were great. Will you be back in the Orlando area?

First of all I didn't know they changed management? Barbara was awesome! Nice young girl did the best cafe con Leche I've had in awhile! Friendly service great cuban coffee food I will be back ! No more Starbucks for me!
