Another Broken Egg Cafe - Winter Park

Granted this was on a holiday, but the food was generally not good and way over priced, even by doordash standards. The side of bacon was only 3 strips and was burnt, and the extra $7 side of fruit was a small cup with a few grapes and chunks of pineapple. I enjoy eating here, but I will never order delivery again.

The eggs were over cooked. The hollandaise was a solid blob and they forget the breakfast potatoes completely. The beignets tasted like old grease.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. When ordering food for delivery, I don't expect it to arrive piping hot since I can't be there, and I can overlook a missed ketchup packet or some utensils—those things happen. However, almost everything we received had issues, and it was hard to even list them all. We spent $175 on food, and every person in our group had some problem with their order. The potatoes in all our meals were undercooked and tough. Some people didn't receive entire side dishes and the condiments that were supposed to accompany their meals. The bacon, which cost $7 for just three pieces, was burnt. The beignets were so overcooked that they were rock hard and inedible. To make matters worse, nothing was labeled, so we had to cut food apart just to figure out who it belonged to. It’s frustrating because every Friday we try a new restaurant, and this left a terrible impression. We definitely won't be trying this place again.

The food is absolutely delicious, but my biscuit and the beignets were a bit overcooked and slightly hard. Nevertheless, it was still a great overall experience.

Incredible packaging! Everything was separated, so nothing got soggy during transport. Once I started eating, the food was delicious!
