Bidra med feedbackI'm not sure what has happened to this Dairy Queen since it changed ownership, but the quality has really declined. The staff seem poorly trained and often don't know how to make the Blizzards correctly. They frequently forget ingredients or skimp on the fillings and syrup. It's so disappointing that I prefer to drive past this Dairy Queen to visit the one in Wood Dale instead.
The service at this restaurant is excellent, and the food is outstanding. I recently moved to the area, and I've noticed they always have a steady stream of customers. The owner is extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place!
Posted hours for Friday night say open until 10. We were literally just walking up at 9:32 on the dot and experienced an employee who made eye contact with us as we approached, flipped the sign to CLOSED, and locked the door as we stared open-mouthed and even other customers inside the store looked at her like WTF. Never again! We'll hit up the Roselle or Addison locations.
If you want customer service that is colder than the ice cream, be sure to stop in. They have a teen girl with dark hair (in 2 braids when I stopped by) that brings new meaning to the term frigid ****. Sorry to be blunt, but she was just a nasty human being. To be that rude so young...it 's sad. She should NEVER work customer service. I will not be back.
This is the best Dairy Queen in the area. Just a FYI: they close in the winter and usually open around May. It has a family-run type feel to it. It 's a small shop but the quality is always great and the staff is friendly (to me it 's a notch above other Dairy Queen 's in the area). It 's usually somewhat busy, a testament to the quality. I don 't think they serve the non-ice cream items at this location (like chicken and hot dogs), which is another plus for me, just focus on the ice cream.
