Short Mountain Cafe - Woodbury

Absolutely a top-notch experience! Even with just a quarter of the staff due to COVID, they didn’t skip a beat. The kitchen produced amazing food, the bartender was full of personality and truly a master at his craft, and our server anticipated every need perfectly. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. We're here for the distillery (kids are welcome) and can only imagine what’s in store for us next.

This is a fantastic spot for brunch! The staff is incredibly friendly and polite, and the food is simply outstanding! Although I didn’t get to experience the distillery or any tastings, the restaurant itself was fabulous. I highly recommend trying the belt breakfast sandwich with cheesy geese, and don’t miss their freshly squeezed orange juice! The interior is beautifully decorated, featuring interesting paintings and quilts that make for a lovely atmosphere. There’s even a small gift shop where I found the best scented candle I’ve ever had! The view is breathtaking and wonderfully peaceful. I strongly recommend supporting this charming family-run restaurant!

I ordered the Deep South Sandwich, and my husband had the fish tacos. They were amazing! I did think the prices were a bit high, but the portion sizes and quality of the food made it worthwhile. There's a talented chef in the kitchen creating fantastic dishes for every guest. We will definitely be returning!

This is a small distillery set on beautiful land! You will get history with the tour and a very nice tasting at the end. The restaurant was okay. Very nice location, but the food was just ok. This place would be nice for a little brunch or lunch.

Awesome Distillery to visit. I personally enjoyed the GIN. We came in just to have a few drinks, so I can't comment on the Dinner service but out waitress was awesome. She knew her drinks on the menu and we actually had her recommend drinks with the choice of our spirit. All 4 of us where happy with her choice and as much as we wanted to hang around for more drinks, we had dinner plans. We are from Michigan and they treated us just like family there! 5 star service and staff!
