Jinju Sushi - Woodland

Jinju has the freshest sushi in all of town and yes we've tried them all. There's only usually a couple chefs so food does take a while but it's worth the wait. We've been here at least a dozen times and never had bad fish. Service is friendly but the waiters can take a while if it's busy. It's not a place to grab a quick bite but to enjoy yourself and quality sushi. I always recommend dining in for sushi since it's fresher and tastes better. Favorite rolls in order: Dion Roll, Woodland Roll, Candy Kain, Pioneer

I have been to this place many times before and the food is always excellent, but the service is mediocre at best. This time it was horrific and I walked out after I finished my beer. I was greeted by the hostess and I asked for a table but she said they were reserved for more than one person, so I had to sit at the bar. I just had a hip replacement, so bar stools are hard for me to sit in. Then she pointed at a QR code thing and told me that is where I get the menu. I don 't use those, they take forever for me to figure out and the writing on the menus is too small for me to see. So I asked for a printed menu and she said they were not updated (why not? COVID is over, people! . She did take my drink order and then I never saw her again. The sushi chef actually placed the drinks on top of the sushi bar and I didn 't even realize they were for me for at least 5 minutes when she finally told me. 15 minutes went by and she finally looked up and asked me if I was ready to order, to which I said, yes. Then she turned and started doing something else. 15 more minutes went by without another word from anyone, so I finished my drink, got up and walked to the front to pay. The hostess came up and I told her what I had to drink, and that I had sat there for 30 minutes without anyone taking my order, and that I was leaving. She looked like she couldn 't be bothered, never apologized or smiled or anything. It 's a shame because the food here is actually very good, it 's their service that has much to be desired. And this was at like 4:00 p.m., so it was not even at the dinner rush. Unacceptable! Guess I 'll only be doing takeout from now on.

Top quality fresh sushi ALWAYS! Creative presentation is one of their things to be proud of and the flavors are stupendous!!! And then there is the fun sushi masters there!

Had some delicious sushi and chicken rolls. I tried the special roll of the day and it turned out to be my favorite.
