Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant can be hit or miss. The service is never outstanding. This review is solely based on the sushi experience, so I will not comment on the grill. The sushi always tastes like it has been defrosted, lacking in quality and flavor. The rolls are always drenched in sauce and fried, which takes away from the traditional Japanese cuisine. If the quality of the soup is anything like their average miso package, then customers may be disappointed. Sakura may be a good option for a quick sushi fix, but it falls short when it comes to providing an authentic Japanese culinary experience.
I mentioned that we were unable to order drinks at the bar. Then we had to wait 20 minutes before we could even ask for drinks. Despite having reservations, other tables received their food before us, even those who arrived after we did. I also forgot to include something to eat in the order. Additionally, the restaurant was uncomfortably warm inside. Overall, I found the experience disappointing and unlikely to return.
This was my first time at this restaurant for my birthday, and the food was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The chef was attentive throughout the meal. My family treated me to dinner, and although the prices ranged from $21 to $29 per meal, I would definitely love to return.
A ny steak ordered for pickup, but was served raw steak. When I told them that it is unusable, you literally served me raw meat. I can't eat that she offered me a 10% discount. After they had shaken one with them, they cooked a new one, only brought the old one back. what they actually did was to throw the old one back on the grill (mind you, this piece boiled, raw meat was sitting almost an hour in the togo container), and then threw it back into the same togo container. crucible best, and also, I wouldn't have another half an hour away, just for them to throw it back on the grill. I could have done that from home. this was my first visit in months after I was previously very annoyed with them for dishonest business practices by false prices on their menu. They would always claim that they had to increase the prices due to the pandemic, but they simply had not updated their menu. the display of false prices on all menus in the restaurant is against the law and I will report it to the better business bureau and the yolo county department of public health. they deserve to be closed for dishonest business practices and absolutely dirty sanitary standards. they do not seem to have a concept of KROSS CONTAMINATION.
Great atmosphere with excellent service and staff. The food was top notch and fun to watch it prepared right in front of you. The chefs were amazing and talented.
